Who is Russ? Why is he here?

I'm Russ. The head shot is me from April of 2009.

I've started my blog mark here for strictly commercial reasons - I'm learning to how to make money on the fabulous internets through various means. I haven't looked into doing this until I was laid off from the profession I've been in for 25 years - being an architect (need some specfications written? drawing made? something built?).

I'm in a quandary right now - I'm not sure what to be promoting for this internet business.

Any ideas are welcome.

I know my niche needs to be something I'm interested in, something I'm sure that just can't be lived without. The things I'm interested in include:

-Playing the piano (I'm plowing through Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course, book 2). I'm taking a lesson every other week.

-Diabetes treatment (I have Type 2 diabetes, diagnosed about 10 years ago).

-Healthy Diets / Cooking

-Remote Control Helicopters

-Computer hardware

-Big ol' pickup trucks (I drive a 2003 Chevy)

-Home improvements (Is there a Binford affiliate program?)

As I say, I'm in need of some niche ideas for marketing any ideas cheerfully considered.....
